What’s new at this year’s Gala?

It's a new venue! This year's Gala is at Myers Park Country Club - 2415 Roswell Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28209
Online to LIVE AUCTION - start bidding online, and then we'll take the highest bid to start Live Auction bidding on "Living the Dream," a once-in-a-lifetime yacht vacation.
Extra drink tickets will be sold, but NO CASH will be accepted. (Credit cards only). See more below.

No Silent Auction again this year! This year’s event will allow more time for socializing. Fabulous auction items and packages are being offered for bid during the ONLINE Auction February 24 - March 2. A preview of the online auction is coming soon!
Back by popular demand - Teacher Wish List board. This interactive donation board will be available so that, if you wish, you may make a direct donation for a specific classroom need.

What is included in the ticket price?

Dinner and drinks (beer, wine and soft drinks - 2 drink tickets included), Live Auction and entertainment by The Bad Daddies!

Do I need an admission ticket?

No. If you have made your reservation, we will have your name on a list and look forward to welcoming you at Myers Park Country Club. Check in at the registration desk and you are good to go! Enjoy your evening!

Is this a sit-down dinner? Should I go out to dinner first?

No and NO! This is not a sit down dinner, but there is reserved seating for our sponsors and VIPs, and plenty of tables and chairs for all to sit and enjoy a variety of fabulous food items. The food will be plentiful and yummy!

What time is the event?

The doors open at 7:00 PM and food and beverages will be served immediately. Dinner will be available until about 8:30, when the live auction begins.

What are the drink tickets?

Drink tickets are required at each of the bars. Each guest will receive two (2) tickets for drinks – beer or wine or soft drinks. If you would like additional beverages or prefer something from a full bar, you may purchase tickets at the drink ticket table.

Cash and Club account charges will NOT be accepted at the drink ticket table this year. The drink ticket table accepts credit cards ONLY.

How do I pay for Gala expenses at the event?

If you registered and purchased your tickets online, we should have your credit card on file. When you arrive at the event, check-in and we will confirm that we have your preferred card on file.

If you have not pre-registered, you will be asked to swipe your credit card at the check-in table. This allows you to play "Teacher Wish List," buy tickets for the “Parties with a Purpose” get your “Golden Ticket” if you haven’t already, and BID during the Live Auction! The back of your program will include your bidder number for buying and bidding for everything EXCEPT additional drink tickets.
During the Live Auction, you may bid on the fabulous Auction packages by raising your bidder number (located on the back of your Gala program). Additional drink tickets may be purchased at the drink ticket table, but not with your bid number.

How do I check-out?

To make things easier for you (and so that you can enjoy the evening without standing in a check-out line), we will e-mail a receipt to you after the Online Auction closes.

When and where do I pick up my Online or Live Auction Items?

All items and gift certificates may be picked up at Charlotte Catholic High School.
Should you wish to have a CCHS student pick up your item or gift certificate, you may provide a signed copy of The Gala receipt to the student who must present the receipt at the CCHS Advancement Office in order to pick up the item or gift certificate for you.
