Procedures & Rules

• Guests are assigned a bidder number which appears on their nametags and on their check-in envelope.
• Bidder numbers may be used for Silent Auction bidding, Live Auction bidding and the Live Appeal.
• All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are allowed. Please adhere to the restrictions and expiration dates on the gift certificates.
• Silent Auction: Writing your bid number and an amount on a bid sheet is a promise to pay this amount if you are the highest bidder on an item. If you are the highest bidder when the silent auction closes and the bid sheets are picked up by the table hostess, you are the winning bidder. 
• Live Auction: If you are the highest bidder when the auctioneer closes an item, you are the winning bidder.  As the winning bidder, you will sign a promise to pay the winning bid amount.
• Payments for auction items, donations and purchases will be made through the credit card on file with The Gala. Each guest will be emailed a receipt. All payments are processed within three business days.
• CCHS makes no representations of any kind, nor any expressed or implied warranty with respect to the items offered at this auction.

Items and Gift Certificates may be picked up at the CCHS Advancement Office the week following the Gala
